The home is a place of warmth and serenity where you will be assured of a “home from home” welcome from the Sisters and staff.
In 1930 the Sisters of Nazareth were invited to Mallow by the Health Authority to provide a better quality of life for a large number of long stay residents in the County Home (now Mallow Hospital). Since then Nazareth House has provided high quality care for the people of North Cork and further afield.

Situated on eight acres of rolling parkland close to the city centre, Nazareth House opened in 1970 to provide care for older people in the North Dublin area. Since then we have kept our traditional core values and ethos while constantly updating our facilities and raising our standard of care.
We aim to provide a safe, comfortable environment for all our residents. We treat all our residents as individuals and respect their right to privacy, dignity and independence. We welcome family and friends involvement in their relatives care. Each person entering Nazareth House is an individual and remains one!
We encourage you to get involved in the life of the home through the residents council and with our open visiting hours and family events we hope your loved ones will feel as welcome as you are. Have fun exploring our links to find out more.
